Also one thing I forgot to mention: I’ll be picking up a Hauppauge at some point within the next month so we’ll be able to stream and record in much higher quality. The dazzles been good to me but constant recording issues are getting to me. So yeah, HD console footage will be nice!

7 day Pokémon marathon for Child’s Play!

For our third gaming marathon we’ve decided to catch ‘em all!
Starting on August 1st at 5PM BST we’ll be playing through every generation of Pokémon and catch ‘em all along the way! The marathon will be live right here on the main page as well as over on the livestream page!
This is all in benefit of Child’s Play. Child’s Play is a charity that donates toys and video games to over 70 hospitals world wide. The aim is to give sick children that are, sadly, stuck in hospital for long periods of time something to take there minds off of things, even if just for a little while.
As far as games go and who’s playing what:

Pokémon Emerald – Damien
Pokémon Fire Red – Zack

Hello, my oh my it has been a while hasn’t it?
If you don’t check our Youtube channel then you’ll have missed a bunch of videos as I’ve been slacking when it comes to posting them up here. Sorry about that!
What I can tell you is that there is a ridiculous amount of stuff currently in the works here, in fact if you frequent our forums then you’ll have heard about a fair bit of it! The most important tidbit I have for you is the date of our next marathon. The Pokémon Marathon will start on August the 1st and will keep going for an entire week. In that time we’ll catch EVERY Pokémon and trade them to a single cart which we’ll give out as a prize at the end of the marathon. You can expect to hear a lot more on this soon!
With the marathon info out of the way theres still a heck of the lot to talk about. Podcasts, Videos, Community projects and some Dragons in Dungeons right after the break.

Mega Man Marathon Wrap-up

The Mega Man Marathon is over and I must say, it was a hell of a lot of fun.
Let me just start by saying a huge THANK YOU to everybody who donated, advertised or just sat back and had some fun. It means a lot to me that you guys would stick with us throughout the entire marathon and I love you all equally. Except D-pad, he is slightly more equal that the rest of you.
Kidding aside, on to the marathon itself. We raised a total of $1,360 for Child’s Play, and even though the marathon is over, if you can donate please do it’s a very good cause. While I would like to believe I’m a competent gamer these marathons constantly like to prove me wrong, the final death total this marathon was 1180. Ouch.
This marathon taught us all a lot, we learned of the existence of a Yeah! button, learned the importance of saving, and most importantly, Mega Man is hard.
Congrats go to Cobhan, Sadie and Melissa for winning the MM anniversary collection, MMX collection and the MM Zero collection respectively.
See you all at the Pokémon marathon in a few months time!
